Walkrix Privacy Policy

Your movement data stays focused.

Walkrix uses verified activity data to calculate Strix, protect the reward economy, and keep your account secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not reward manually entered health records.

1. What we collect

  • Step and movement data required to calculate reward eligibility, including daily step totals, pending step blocks, conversion history, and step sync status.
  • Basic account data such as your Firebase user ID, email address, and purchase status.
  • Device and app diagnostics for crash reporting, fraud prevention, and sync troubleshooting.
  • Reward economy signals such as conversion attempts, ad credits, premium status, and ledger activity.

2. Health and fitness data

Walkrix accesses health and fitness data only to provide step tracking and Strix reward functionality. On Android, this may include Health Connect step records through the READ_STEPS permission and historical step access when you grant it. Walkrix may also use the Android Activity Recognition permission and the device step counter sensor as a compatibility source for today's step total.

The Health data we access and/or collect is limited to step-related information:

  • Step count totals for the current day and recent history needed for charts, weekly summaries, and reward conversion.
  • Step record time windows, sync timestamps, and source metadata used to distinguish organic device/watch activity from manual or unknown entries.
  • Sensor availability and trust signals such as local step counter availability, cadence, session duration, and anomaly flags used for anti-cheat checks.

We use this Health data to show your steps, calculate 3,000-step conversion blocks, enforce daily caps, prevent fake/manual activity abuse, maintain fair club challenge leaderboards, and support account troubleshooting. Walkrix does not use Health data for advertising targeting, does not sell Health data, and does not share Health data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. What we do not collect for rewards

  • Precise GPS location.
  • Contacts, messages, photos, or media libraries.
  • Bank card information.
  • Medical records, diagnoses, symptoms, heart rate, sleep, calories, menstrual health, or other non-step Health data.
  • Manual step entries from Health data sources. Walkrix filters those out of the reward flow and does not reward them.

4. Why we use this data

  • To run step tracking, pending-block conversion, premium benefits, and the Strix wallet.
  • To detect cheating, suspicious sync cadence, fake activity, and reward abuse.
  • To support rewarded ads, subscriptions, and customer support.
  • To improve performance, reliability, and release quality.

5. Third-party services

  • Firebase for authentication, database, cloud functions, analytics, and crash reporting.
  • Google AdMob for rewarded ads in the free experience.
  • Google Play Billing and App Store billing infrastructure for premium subscriptions.

These services help operate Walkrix. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. Health and step data is used for app functionality, fraud prevention, and rewards; it is not provided to AdMob for ad targeting by Walkrix.

6. Security and retention

  • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
  • Access to reward and account data is limited to necessary services and administrative review flows.
  • Suspicious reward events may be retained longer for fraud investigation and policy enforcement.
  • Step summaries, reward ledger items, and anti-cheat signals may be retained while your account is active and as needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and accounting.
  • Inactive or deleted accounts may be removed or anonymized according to operational and legal retention needs.

7. Data deletion

Data deletion is handled inside the app. Open Settings, go to Data Deletion, and submit the in-app request while signed in.
  1. Open Walkrix and sign in to the account you want deleted.
  2. Go to Settings → Data Deletion.
  3. Submit the request from the in-app privacy queue.
  4. Track the request status directly inside the app.

8. Turkce ozet

Walkrix, adim sayma ve Strix odul hesaplamasi icin Health Connect adim kayitlarina, Android fiziksel aktivite iznine ve cihaz adim sensorune erisebilir. Bu veriler; gunluk adim sayisini gostermek, her 3.000 adimlik odul blogunu hesaplamak, manuel/sahte adimlari filtrelemek, gunluk limitleri uygulamak ve yarismalarda adil siralama yapmak icin kullanilir.

Toplanan veya erisilen Health verisi adim bilgisiyle sinirlidir: adim toplamları, adim kaydi zaman araliklari, senkron zamanlari, kaynak bilgisi, sensor durumu ve hile onleme sinyalleri. Walkrix; kalp atisi, uyku, kalori, tibbi kayit, tani, belirti, adet sagligi veya adim disindaki saglik verilerini odul amaciyla toplamaz. Health verileri reklam hedefleme icin kullanilmaz, satilmaz ve reklamverenlerle paylasilmaz.
